The Financial Semester, Incorporated is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing information to raise awareness of the importance of finances in our lives.
The mission of the Financial Semester, Inc is to educate school age children K-12 with financial literacy and equip them with the financial tools that will lead them to financial freedom.
Research shows that African Americans lag in assets accumulation, managing debt effectively, or saving at a meaningful level. The primary reason cited is the failure to engage in purposeful financial management designed to address spending patterns, savings and investments, and entrepreneurial endeavors.
The goal is to provide practical but advanced financial planning information that will increase fiscal awareness and lead to increased savings and asset accumulation in the African American community as well as other communities that will benefit.
We are equipped with an extremely dedicated team, with real world experiences. We pride ourselves on always putting the kids first with a series of amazing courses, activities, and lessons that will set them up for the success that we believe every student is capable of.
